Customer Appointment Manager version 6.0 was recently released by Atlas Business Solutions. Version 6.0 includes enhancements that will allow companies to further customize their appointment scheduling software and produce more reports. Users can create more custom statuses for their appointments, more custom fields for both the appointment and customer forms, and create custom labels, such as students or volunteers instead of clients, customers, or patients. Two new reports have been added to version 6.0 that show a list of upcoming appointments for the entire company, regardless of employee, and a report for customers that show their upcoming appointments in a calendar view. In Customer Appointment Manager appointment scheduling software, you can use daily notes to communicate information to your employees, such as a notice for a received delivery or a message to check for a new appointment.

You can include these notes when you prepare reports, such as Daily Appointment Sheets or Appointments by Employees. They are listed at the bottom of each day’s appointments. To add or edit a daily note, your appointment scheduler should:

1. Right-click in the name box to select the employee and display the option menu.
2. Select Add/Edit Daily Employee Note and enter or update your message; up to 75 characters.
3. Click OK.

Employees with a daily note will have a yellow note icon displayed next to their name in the appointment scheduling window when in Daily and Weekly views. To view note contents, simply click the icon.

Looking for a fast and easy way to create a custom report? Make a unique list of employee information using the Employee List report in Staff Files HR software. In addition to the fields from the General, Emergency, and User tab, you can also select fields for Current Wage, Previous Wage, Starting Wage, Years Worked, and Age.

To print an employee list:

1. From the Reports menu, select Employee List. The report name is displayed in the report Title/Header field in the Employee List dialog box.

2. In the Column Definition section, identify the information you want to include in the list by double-clicking each column to display the Employee List Column Definition dialog box.

3. In the Employee List Column Definition dialog box, select the Field name and Column Header. Also enter the character Width for the column, and ascending or descending Sort order. Or, click the Delete Column button for information you are not going to include in the listing.

4. Use the Filter option, if needed.

5. Click a print option: Preview, Print or Printer Setup.

6. Click Close to exit.
